The Yellow Dog Project helps dogs who need space (DINOS: Dogs in need of space) and began in Sweden on 27 June, 2012. Lots of DINOS owners and real dog-friendly people agree to this campaign and it is expanding around the whole world now!
By adding a small yellow ribbon to the leash, we hope to give owners and general public the ability to identify dogs that are not ready to say hi. This includes dogs that have had surgery, are in training, just need space, or are in a rehab/rescue program.
I love this project’s suggestion because it’s very simple, smart and cute! It’s helpful for blind dogs!
This cute poster by Lili Chin has translated into various languages! I did Japanese version. Anybody can download the poster from project’s official website, share it on website, blog and SNS, and print it!
